Advanced Reasoning |
Advanced Reasoning Incorporated (ARI) is a small business founded in November 1995, specializing in real-time mathematical computer applications and problem solving. Since its conception, ARI has primarily supported the Naval community. These efforts consist of real-time SONAR signal processing software design, development and integration, as well as SONAR signal processing system engineering efforts. In addition, ARI has supported the NAVY in the development and maintenance of the AN/SQQ-89(V)6/10/14/15/AV15 systems including all three components: AN/SQS-53C, AN/SQQ-28 and AN/SQR-19A/B. ARI is currently comprised of four individuals, each possessing a Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a technically related area, specifically Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. As a result, although small, ARI has a decent hold on a wide variety of technical and mathematical areas. In addition, we pride ourselves on our desire to tackle difficult problems and our ability to quickly grasp concepts. An effort that exemplifies our expertise is the AN/SQQ-89(V)10 Kingfisher Upgrade ECP. We designed, developed and implemented shallow water mine detection algorithms for an active SONAR application. In general, this adequately illustrates the breadth of our capabilities as this effort required a good understanding of mathematically intensive signal processing algorithms as well as the ability to implement them within a real-time signal processing computer application. Currently at ARI, we are interested in pursuing other efforts pertaining to mathematical analysis or mathematical computer applications. We believe that due to our small corporate structure, we can offer a rapid product turn-around in a number of mathematically related areas, all at reduced costs. The following briefly describes our experience and capability within the AN/SQQ-89. If there is any further information required, please feel free to contact us. |

At the contract level, ANT will extend our corporate quality management standards across the membership of our SEAPORT Enhanced Team. This proactive program is modeled after the ISO 9001 international quality standard. It is ANT’s intent that team auditors have ISO Lead Auditor training and certification, and all internal organizations are reviewed annually to ensure that sound quality systems are in place and functioning. We will leverage our larger businesses within the team, and their quality programs and audit experience to benefit our subcontractors and promote their internal quality programs. The Team QA Manager will oversee implementation of the quality program across the contract. At the task order level, we will also implement our quality program as a framework for generating team metrics and identifying task order specific improvement opportunities. Within this quality framework, task order managers will develop and implement task order specific quality plans within each task order master plan. Each plan will be managed, tracked, and reported to ensure compliance with all customer and program specific quality requirements. Where necessary, credentialed experts in QA will be directed to perform technical task assignments on an on-call or long-term basis. Team personnel will have access to consistent quality management guidance, tools, and processes, and ANT will facilitate on-line submission of QA documentation for collaborative review. |
